Cozy Layers Look

Recently the Free People location near me had a major 50% sample and sample preview sale. I had wandered in to exchange this bralette to white and came across some great styles they had in stock. They also were having an in store special on this bralette I also have and love that's a halter style. They are $20! I love this top too because the sleeves are longer than usual, fitted , and the shirts length overall is longer. It could probably be paired with leggings if sized up. I couldn't locate my exact top on the website, but it's a thin rib and similar bottom as the thermal style linked above. I love how soft and stretchy it is!  The curved neckline is great for layering under with a bralette or even in the v neck style.  My cardigan is on sale and so Iโ€™m sharing some similar looks I also love that could go also.  I have this style and love it's long length and this color is very soft if you like a neutral.

I loved having a three day weekend and always feel so much more productive and well rested when I can take a day to get organized ! Can't they all be like that?! This week ahead looks busy and continuously cold so comfy layers it is for the continuation of January!

Softest Eyelash Cardigan

This eyelash long cardigan sweater is thick, warm, and so so soft ! I couldn't resist the contrast of the black and white with the plush texture. The best part is I found it at 60 % off! It was the perfect layer to wear walking around the city over the weekend while we had family in town for a wedding.

We took advantage of the sunny weather and played tourist for the day. I couldn't believe how developed and changed the water front is from Brookfield Place to Battery Park downtown.

Travel Essentials

For as much as I have traveled I still am mastering the art of packing light with versatile items. (I'm notorious for over packing, which can also make it difficult to choose outfits once on the trip if there's too many options.) I'm working toward using the "less is more" approach, well trying at least! For vacation travel I started with some simple items that can be worn on a traveling day and throughout the trip in different ways . It's always tricky going from cooler to warm climates so I find layers are best for chilly airports.

I'll be styling some of the basics below in upcoming posts as I get ready to jet set to Vegas! This is a super spontaneous trip and I can't wait to get out of the New York cold and slow my pace for some sunshine.  I've never been to Las Vegas, any suggestions for restaurants, shows, or activities will be much appreciated if you could comment below!
